Due to the severity of COVID-19 outbreak, we cannot safely accommodate a large group of people from various countries in May. We assure you that the preparations for the ACP2020 conference continue and we are looking to schedule the conference sometime in autumn of 2020. The new date will be announced soon. Registrations remain open for the time being. Feel free to continue preparing your contributions.
Safety and health of all attendees is our main concern and we believe we will be able to organize a safe and successful event in autumn.
The Program committee and Organizing committee would like to invite experts from industry, universities and research organizations to participate at
XVth International conference
Present State and Perspectives of Analytical Chemistry in Practice
which will be held May 12th – 14th, 2020 in Bratislava
The event will be organized to commemorate the 80th anniversary of FCFT of STU in Bratislava
under the auspices of the rector of STU Prof. Miroslav Fikar, D. Sc.
and of the dean FCFT STU Prof. Anton Gatial, D. Sc.
The conference's aim is to provide news and trends in analytical method development as well as in the evaluation of data obtained from analytical chemical measurements. The conference will provide a space to share experiences of researchers in different areas of analytical testing at universities, research and testing laboratories. The program will include prestigious plenary lectures, keynote lectures by emerging scientists from CE region, a broad array of poster presentations, vendor and instrument exhibition, combined with exciting social events. ACP 2020 will significantly contribute to qualification improvement of research staff from analytical laboratories and particularly accredited testing laboratories.
In 2016, a new tradition of providing short courses started and this will be followed also in ACP 2020. The symposium is tentatively set to start with a few short courses on Monday, May 11th on the following topics:
- Multidimensional and comprehensive gas chromatography
- From classical to high resolution AAS
- Introduction to LC-MS/MS
We truly believe that you will use the opportunity to meet experts from various field of analytical chemistry, both officially and unofficially, to accelerate discussion and facilitate knowledge exchange among our colleagues from analytical laboratories, chemical testing in practice, research and universities from Slovakia, Czech republic and other neighboring countries, as well as with companies providing analytical instrumentation, chemicals, and consumables.
We are looking forward to meet you in Bratislava in May 2020.
